Dream Inn

Remotes don't work, had to swap batteries around, fire alarm dangling from ceiling, dries blood on sheets, can hear kids screaming thru the walls. Great location, can walk to the beach in 90 seconds

We stayed here for five days in December and were attracted by the photos and location to the boardwalk. We were so disappointed. The owner/manager is conspicuous by his absence, appearing only once to collect our payment and encourage us to visit his restaurant. The apartment was very very small with possibly the cheapest, slippery bed linen I have ever come into contact with. The tv was semi functioning and the socket for the fridge and microwave was faulty. There was one very uncomfortable armchair and a tiny table with two tiny chairs which were virtually impossible to use for the purpose they were designed for. Was an absolutely GREAT stay! Very clean and exactly as advertised. The communication was great. Alfredo our host was very cordial and serving to any of our questions and needs. For the price, location and service YOU CANNOT BEAT "Dream Inn". Without question we will be staying here again and may very well be our main stay when visiting Florida. Dream? More like a nightmare. As a Floridian, the cockroaches didn't phase me but that was the least of our problems. Our bed had long black hairs in it (none of us have black hair), the pull out couch was broken, we weren't provided enough linens for 4 people and worst of all the unit next door threw an all night party. My husband went next door to ask that they keep it down but that just made the music and yelling worse. The Dream Inn advertises a 24/7 call line but when I called at 11pm nobody answered. I called several times until at 1am someone answered the phone and pretty much told me I had the right to call the police. Party stopped around 2am. If you're looking for a clean, quiet and relaxed beach vibe without breaking the bank, this is the place!!! If you want to be primped and pampered move on! We stayed here last minute. The price was perfect for us a family of 3 with a young child and the location is top notch! Just a block from the beach and boardwalk. Our room had an oven and kitchenette and full sized fridge so we could cook when we felt like it. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nicole was a great host and was able to get us booked right when we called. She had many recommendations for us as well. The great man onsite even went to the grocery store and picked us up some coffee and stuff to make grilled cheeses for my son. This was an unplanned trip as we were supposed to be going to Costa Rica.
