Downtown Hollywood Gardens Inn & Suites

My boyfriend and I stay here a few times a year for the last five years. This stay was good. Our bed was firm and the refrigerator worked good. We stayed four nights and did not have any problems. The new manager Lee was very nice and helpful. The only thing we thought was weird is we had to wait until 4 pm to check in…there was around 10 people in the small lobby just standing there waiting to check in… we are glad they took the coffee pots out of the room and wish they would take the microwaves out. We love having the refrigerator though….But wish they would put one nice microwave and coffee and hot water back in the lobby. It’s under new ownership so I’m sure they are going to figure that all out in the future👍🏻👍🏻

Positive: The hotel is a great bargain. Of course, it's austere. But if you are hoping for a clean, quiet, safe inexpensive place to stay, it's a great place. Friendly staff. I'm a frequent traveller and now regularly stay here. Negative: ""

Agree with most good reviews . Parking... Come on folks either you access lots of parking from ally along north side or lots of parking along street on south side. The owner has no control over these Fla cities . Try and get a curb cut running that whole street area! The owners did a lovely job bringing a old property back. My issue is now keep it up. 1 wired in smoke detector beeped all night. (See this in other reviews! Fix it!) 2 Basic repaired a hole in wall about 3/4 of the way, replace window shade if it's broken, fantastic bath update so fix the darn loose tp holder. 3 Could use a little better cleaning , just open eyes and wipe. On that note tone down whatever cleaning products used. Had to leave windows open when went for dinner to get the odor down to basic acceptable for sleep.

Nice hotel. Had an issue with bed and was immediately given a new room. There is a 20$ hotel fee if you book online. I paid 95$ for the room and it was worth that. Amenities are on the shy side. No plastic cups in room no ice bucket. But it did have a fridge and microwave. Great location close by young circle short drive to beach.

Got this place on an express deal on priceline, it says its a 2 star but im not sure how. It should be a half star. I killed about 4 palmetto bugs, the toilet was broken, it keep running all night. The bed was terrible. The outside entrance door was right outside my door and it shrieked all night. I left early. Would never stay here again.
