Doveberry Inn

Check in process was super easy! Simple keypads on door allows you to check in whenever convenient. The room was cozy and comfortable and the staff kindly adjusted the heat to our preferred setting before our arrival. The complimentary breakfast was simple but delicious and was a quick and easy option before leaving for the day. Overall the Doveberry Inn was a great experience.

The hotel is centrally located in the middle of Dover VT. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Plus, it’s located right in the center of skying area, lots to do around. |Our room was on the second floor, very simple, nothing fancy but big and very clean. Nice balcony overlooking the hotel grounds and mountains. |Continental breakfast was simple not many choices. It could be so much nicer with just simple adjustments and better presentation. Breakfast just looked like an afterthought not much effort on this area.|Communication with the staff was very clear and precise. You check in yourself, there is no reception, just go into your rooms. Plenty of signs and information are available in the public area of the hotel. |Looking for a simple economic stay, this will be fine.

The Dove Berry Inn was a real gem. My room had a whirlpool tub, wall heating unit and a propane gas iron heating unit as well. Downstairs there was a wood fireplace burning in the morning and evenings around the living room couches. There was a hotel style breakfast with tea, coffee, muffins and waffles, etc. It was a nice place to stay, very private. No fussing or hassles. Other guests were quiet and kept to themselves.

The lodge was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, personable, and took care of any issues promptly. The Inn was also close to Mount Snow and there was a free shuttle that took us directly to the mountain. I’d highly recommend this location.

The inn has a rustic / homey feel, like your staying at a friends house. Great communication from the owner as soon as I booked the room. Met the owner Nick, he was great.Had a fire going for us in fireplace when we arrived. Would definitely stay there again.
