I’ve checked in on Monday, Feb 2. The room was not cleaned properly, it looks like someone urinated in the toilet and didn’t flush. There were small pieces of paper on the nightstand. I’ve called front desk, no one picked up the phone. I went to the front desk asked to change the room. The room was ok, a bit dated. Next morning, I realized I forgot my toothpaste, called the front desk several times. No one picked up the phone. Finally, after several attempts, the receptionist picked up the phone. I’ve asked for the toothpaste. Was waiting for 40 mins. At the checkout, I’ve expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction with front desk service. The receptionist did not apologized, stating she was busy registering the new guests. I suggested she get help at the front desk, she said there is no ne

While concerning, this seems like an issue that could be prevented with more thorough housekeeping checks. Several other small but noticeable maintenance and service gaps added up during my stay: Room readiness: The microwave clock hadn’t been updated since Daylight Savings Time ended (four weeks prior to my arrival), and the desk clock was unplugged. Stayed there to watch my Hoosiers win the National Championship. Can't say enough good things about the people and the property. Great rooms, great amenities, pool area was awesome and the food was fantastic. Most importantl, the staff was incredible. Shout out to Guillermo, the concierge. He was extremely friendly and helped me get a van to the game. And shout out to Sonia at the pool bar as well. I highly recommend to stay at the DoubleTree in Hollywood Beach! You won't regret it!

We always like Doubletree because of the cookies and the quality of the rooms and locations so we were pleasantly surprised to find this was the cheapest place to stay in Hollywood Beach for our New Year’s vacation. It was especially impressive considering the orange bowl was going on at this time and despite how busy it was, Annika still managed to provide excellent service to us and all the other guests all hours of the day every day all week. She was just one shining example of an excellent team. We were so happy they provided a pack and play and made other accommodations for us since we were traveling with the baby for the first time.
