DoubleTree by Hilton Monroe Township Cranbury

Room was fine, comfy beds. My travel partners soap and shampoo bottles were empty the whole time, even after housekeeping visits. My used coffee items weren’t replenished. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6, but still no coffee, breakfast or front desk attendant by the time we left for the day at 8am. Guests waiting in the lobby for 15-20 minutes for service. Gym only had wash cloths available instead of hand towels which was annoying. The in-house restaurant is different than what’s on the sign outside. It was fine though but the hotel needs to change the name. You come in expecting steak and seafood but get pub food. Good service and good food. Bartender made a special custom Espresso Martini just perfectly! She is the reason for 3 stars instead of 2.

This is a very nice hotel. Very nicely done and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff at check-in was excellent and attentive. Probably the best customer service. I had a hotel in a long time if you’re traveling on the turnpike this is the best place to stay Hands-down.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff was professional, courteous, and always willing to assist with any request. The location was convenient, making it easy to access key areas in the city. Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free experience. I would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

Positive: Cleanliness. Negative: No vent in bathroom; only one tissue left; booked a room with microwave missing. booked room with cont. breakfast, but room note said 'breakfast not included'. Poor signage makes it difficult to exit premises. Only one bar soap between shower and sink.

I have been a Hilton Honors member for years and this by far was one of the worst experiences ever. I checked in online which was the first mistake. The room that I booked was not available and I was given put in an alternate room supposedly at the same rate. The morning after I checked in, I requested towels, washcloths etc. I was told that NONE were available and that they were all being washed, which prevented me from showing before leaving the hotel for the day. At 6:30pm, my request for towels etc still had not been fulfilled and apparently the housekeeping staff left at 4:30. To add to this horrible experience , some unruly kids decided to have a hotel party around 9:45 and they were so loud I could not sleep.
