DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center

I wanted a hotel that would be close to airport in order to catch an early flight the next day and reasonably priced. I had just arrived back from cruise so I wouldn’t be able to check-in until 4pm. However, I explained my situation and they were able to accommodate me with an early check-in. However, there was an additional charge but I didn’t mind. Cruises arrived around 8 am so I was happy with getting a room to relax. Staff was very nice and professional. Front desk, bartenders and cleaning staff. I would definitely recommend this location.

Upon entering the DoubleTree by Hilton, the hotel was absolutely beautiful and the lobby made a great first impression. We also really appreciated being able to store our luggage while waiting for our room to be ready — that was very convenient and made our arrival much easier. Check-in and check-out were both quick and seamless, and of course the warm cookies were delicious! The large bottles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in the room were also a nice touch. Unfortunately, once we got to our room, there were a few issues that took away from the experience. The first thing I noticed was a large oil stain (or some type of stain) on the comforter, which was very off-putting. The shower curtain rings were torn where they attached, and there was only one nightstand for the bed

I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport, and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is perfectly located very close to the airport, which made our travel extremely convenient. The room rates are very good, especially considering the quality of the stay. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team made us feel truly welcome. The warm greeting and the famous fresh, warm cookies were such a nice touch and immediately made us feel at home. Our room was amazing — spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bathroom was super clean, and the large windows gave the room a bright and pleasant atmosphere. I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The place is well maintained, clean, and comfortable, which made the experience even better.||I especially want to highlight the excellent service from a staff member named Edgar or Edwin (I apologize if I’m not remembering the name correctly). Even though he was clearly very busy, he was always attentive, professional, and made sure everything was taken care of. His attitude and dedication truly stood out.||Regarding the food, I ordered the salmon with salad. The salmon was slightly undercooked for my personal taste, but once I mentioned it, the issue was handled quickly and professionally, and it was fixed without any problem. My wife and I recently stayed at the DoubleTree near Miami International Airport and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Prior to arrival, we attempted multiple times to call the hotel—between ourselves and family members—but were unable to reach anyone. We were told the hotel was overwhelmed and unable to take calls, yet upon arrival there were several staff members gathered in a side room, which made the lack of phone support frustrating. We also learned that the hotel does not offer an airport shuttle, requiring us to take an Uber. While not a deal-breaker, it added to the inconvenience. During check-in, despite having already paid in full through the Hilton app, the first staff member we interacted with attempted to charge us again, which caused unnecessary confusion.
