Double Play Cabins

Just got home from our second stay at Double Play - exactly one year after our first stay. Without a doubt THE BEST place to stay in the Cooperstown area. The owners are wonderful, the location is perfect, and the cabin itself has everything you could possibly need. We had some first-timers join us and they couldn’t believe how nice it was. As we were leaving, my daughter said she would like to just buy the cabin and live there full time haha. Thanks for everything, again!

We had a great experience staying at Double Play Cabins! Everything was just as described. The cabins were very nice, spacious and well equipped with pretty much anything you needed, especially the kitchen. We also appreciated that they provided towels and had washing machines and dryers in each unit.The grounds were beautiful too. Diane and Glen were very gracious hosts. Very close proximity to Dreams Park as well! I would definitely stay here again!

We have been going to Cooperstown every fall for years and we have stayed at several different hotels, motels, inns, etc. This is the 2nd year in a row that we stayed at Double Play. The cabin still seems like it is brand new. Very clean and comfortable. We love the fact you have a refrigerator and kitchen as well. The views are beautiful. I am sharing a picture of the morning view from one of the bedrooms. It is a very quick drive into Cooperstown as well as other attractions like Fly Creek Cider Mill and Brewery Ommegang. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Diane and Glen do a fantastic job and are wonderful hosts. We will be back!

We went to Cooperstown this past weekend with accommodations booked through Expedia. When we got there, it was an absolute nightmare. The Bates motel would have been an upgrade. We couldn’t stay and had to find a place last minute and everything was booked - until my cousin found Double Play Cabins with an opening and booked it. Within an hour we had arrived and were SO relieved and blown away with how incredible a place we lucked into! Spacious, clean, welcoming, and fun! Plenty of space outside to play catch, a fireplace inside, a TV with a Roku. It had it all! Even a gas grill so we could grill our dinner! Absolutely blown away and we will definitely be back!

Perfect place to stay for families that have athletes competing at Dream Park. Less than 10 minutes from the complex, but secluded so the rest of the family can enjoy time away. Diane and Glen live at the estate, so they are there if there are any issues (which there were none!). Large, well-kept cabins with everything you need for the stay. If I had another 12 yr old, we would definitely stay there again!
