TL:DR - This is our home away from home when visiting every year. Comfy, clean, and well-kept. Every year (sometimes twice a year if we're lucky), we come up to Windham to visit with family. Their house is pretty full up, so we stay here to have some extra space. Also: there's the pool! The kiddos love it, especially in the middle of winter. For the most part, we stay on the first floor for convenience's sake, and it's closer to breakfast (and the pool). Although the name has changed, the staff has not - which is really a wonderful thing. They are always welcoming and ready to help us get situated in my room. Someone is available at the desk, even into the later hours, which is useful when you need to buy something from the pantry. They will give you small items (like a toothbrush) if yo

We made the reservation the same day, so there was no possible 24-hour cancellation window. Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to an emergency. Before the check-in time, we contacted the hotel three different times. At first, we were told they were busy with other guests and to call back later. The next time, they said there was no one available to process a refund. When we called again, they simply refused.||We understand hotel policies, but in this case, since the booking was made the same day, there was never a chance for a 24-hour cancellation period. The lack of flexibility and support during an urgent situation was very disappointing

Positive: It is located in a good central location for the area I was visiting. The stag was extremely helpful and nice. Negative: The bed . It was to hard for me to. But I know that it is not there fault. You can have a bunch of different beds just for ever one.

Room was clean, enough towels for the two of us, grounds were quiet. It was posted at the front desk and with our room keys that the room would not receive daily housekeeping. We only stayed one night so not an issue for us. Breakfast was average for a serve yourself bar. Bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit and all the fixings. Parking seemed limited, some construction next door appeared to take some parking spots. Late arrival guests found spaces but made a few rounds around the building. Nothing within a walking distance for any incidental items, there is a small supply of goods available for purchase. Will stay again if in the area again!

We always use this hotel as it is the closest to Saint Joseph College of Maine. Always clean and the staff is very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is always hot and ready to eat!
