we spent one fun night in albion and stayed at Dollinger's and were so glad we did; albion is a beautiful town with many shops and restaurants close to motel and even beautifully decorated for xmas, a great town!!; motel was decorated for xmas; room had rugs and bed were comfortable; heat worked but we didn't c it at first so bought a small one from Walmart which is very close by. Motel is very well taken care of and grounds; Tv worked great, shower and bathroom sink were very nice. new windows were a nice touch. drop off keys box was right next door and we found keys upon entering no problem. very quiet nice small country neighborhood with crickets at night. car can be parked right outside room. we'd stay again. if I had to pick negatives, Id say spider in bathroom and few hairs aro

It is what it is ... a motel. If you just want a bed and a shower then it's ok. But staying in the older section that's not updated, not even a phone in the room they shouldn't charge such a HIGH rate per night. It's more worth 50 bucks a night and not 90 or a 100. By the way... I stayed Tuesday through Thursday and not on a weekend rate which I'm sure is higher.

For $88, this motel was a surprise. Everything worked, coffee machine, clean room and bathroom. Just two things needed minor attention. Quiet location. The fact there is no staff on duty after 3 PM is not good. You communicate via the phone in the box with someone, some place else. Because the company has two motels in Albion, they save money by having the clerk only at one place. You need some one after 3 PM, good luck.

As my wife and I were cycling the Erie Canal path, we decided to stay in Albion, which is half way between Niagara Falls and Rochester. I called ahead and reserved a room at Dollinger's Motel. As another reviewer wrote, the business is run out of the motor lodge around the corner, so we paid over the phone and were left the receipt and a key in our room, the door of which was left unlocked. A good deal for less than $80. We were able to bring our bicycles inside the room - a big plus. The place is a simple motel, with comfortable beds (especially after cycling 55 miles) with a very good shower. There is a diner and a Rite Aid next door, and Tim Horton's and Dunkin Donuts within a 5 minute walk.||||One thing - it appeared that there were "long-term tenants" living there, and it was a

We love to stay at the old 1950's style motels. Put a chair outside your door and meet the interesting people who are also staying there. Dollingers Motel fit our criteria while on a 400 mile bike ride along the Erie Canalway Trail. as clean and very accommodating..Inexpensive and quiet. Just drop the key in the office slot as you leave.
