Dogwood Campground

NO SEWER HOOKUP ! Made reservation online based on good reviews. Difficult but got it done. Description said Full Hookups. Got to campground and there is NO sewer not for any of the sites! Paid for RV deluxe. Additionally signage was terrible— that is — almost nonexistent. Had to drive around twice to find the site. Then no hookup. AND WHILE being chased by a swarm of wasps. Bath/shower building was in approachable due to wasps. Called and demanded refund. Told it would be done.

Really nice campground! Spacious sites, with trees and full hookups! Check out the descriptions before you book, not all sites were so great. Easy trail access.

We stayed here for our honeymoon on the last week of July. Our site, DW95B, was very secluded from the rest of the campsites, infact of the 5 days we only had two neighbors, both were single night'ers. Site was also in the shade practically the whole time.

We camped in the Dogwood campground. No view of the lake, but a short trail to get there. Our site was very long and pull-through. Asphalt pad just a little wider than the motorhome. . Shady and level. Water and electric hookups. I know there is a dump station, but I didn't see it, so it may be in another loop. The picnic table at our site was badly termite eaten and should have been replaced long ago, but tables at other sites were okay. There was a lot of trash and old ashes in the fire ring. Toilet Rooms and Shower rooms looked clean.
