Doe River Landing

I absolutely love this campground. The host are so warm and welcoming. They even turned the heater on in my cabin prior to my arrival. So thoughtful! And the grounds are immaculate. Bathroom was super clean as well. Totally recommend.

This was a perfect getaway spot. The cabin was much more than I expected. It's obvious that they're well taken care of. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. The bathrooms had nice, fluffy towels. The beds were really comfortable, with a comfy comforter/sheets. The hardwood floors were gorgeous, as were the furnishings. The outside provided you with your own little firepit area with chairs, a grill on the front porch, a playground for the kids, and some beautiful scenery within a short hike from the campground. We would definitely recommend Doe River Landing, and look forward to going back!

My husband and I stayed in the one bedroom cabin with our dog. The cabin was well furnished, very clean, very comfortable bed, a big bathroom with tile shower, heat and A/C with ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom.|We took our dog for walks on a trail along the Doe River, as well as other trails which are on the property. |We also had are own fire pit, with four Adirondack chairs which we enjoyed, and they sold firewood right on the property, which was very convenient.|There is a great playground that kids were enjoying. There was a toy shed for the kids to borrow toys from, that had badminton, horseshoes, corn hole, footballs, etc.|We are planning to come back with another couple, so they can enjoy it as much as us. - looking at booking the two bedroom cabin with the hot tub on t

Had a really nice stay. The campground is spotlessly clean. RV sites are remarkably level, especially for East Tennessee. Only suggestion is that it’s much easier to get in from the Elizabethton side (uphill) than the Roan Mountain side. It’s a fairly hard angle going downhill. Also, make reservations early.

Absolutely loved our stay. RV spots have good spacing between them. Play area for the kids is fantastic. Bathroom was clean. And the creek is wonderful. We will absolutely coming back.
