Customer Reviews
Nice campground but all the sites are close in proximity to each other and if people don’t have camping etiquette it can get pretty noisy so it isn’t really peaceful. There are only 2 shower houses, one at each end of the campground and they ask for a donation. Our site was not on the water, it was across the street from a site on the water but still had a really wonderful view. We probably would NOT stay again. We hear noise all the time in the city which is why we go camping, to get away from it, but that wasn’t possible for this 2 night experience.
This is our second time at this campground and compared to 7 years ago something must have changed. It wasn’t the views, because the lake is wonderful! Whoever is in charge of the bathrooms really needs to make it more of a routine to clean. I’m not trying to throw shade, I know these are obviously campground bathrooms. Very thankful they are flush toilets. I was not expecting warm water (which there wasn’t any), but no soap and they were just generally very dirty and when we first arrived one of the stalls was completely out of paper. Thankfully I had brought some from home. My husband had to visit the camp hosts to bring attention to the men’s restroom as the only toilet was almost overflowing from another guest. The camp host seemed annoyed and did not fix it until the next day. The cam
We went last year and I didn't give a very good review. Mainly because of the garbage containers besides of our tiny house and the odor . However since then my grandson has talked about nothing but this place and how he wants to go back . Looking back it did have very many good qualities, especially to a child . The pricing was confusing but after reviewing it again I know what to expect . It was a matter of a misunderstanding on our part and the people working at the check in . And to hear that many upgrades have been made i am very pleased.||We definitely plan to go back sometime this summer. Just not in the tiny house by the garbage containers 😁. Look forward to seeing what has been done . It is a beautiful place 😊
We had a wonderful time at Diamond Lake Campground! The staff were super helpful and made check-in easy. The campground itself is beautiful — we had a stunning view of the lake right from our site. The area is peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of space and natural beauty all around. What really made the experience even better were the friendly neighbors. Everyone was respectful and kind, and it created a great sense of community. We loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a scenic and welcoming place to camp near the lake!
We loved the place! Our site was next to the lake and was the perfect setting for our family. We enjoyed the tranquility and the lake view. Access to water, restrooms, and hot showers! We will definitely return. Pet-friendly.
