The group campgrounds has three sites. The restroom servicing sites 2/3 is very primitive, basically a small shed surrounding a hole in the ground. It appears to have been built 50 years ago. The site 1 restroom is nicer in typical forest service style .. The downside of all the Group campsites is the extraordinary number of yellow jackets/wasps. They are real nuisance, and several of our group were stung. The positive side of my visit was the proximity to trails and the site was quite some distance away from the road, and you didn’t hear the noise .
