Since the cold shower incident has been repaired, I'm changing my stars to 5+ if I could for service. As soon as Sean heard of my complaint about the showers being cold, the problem was immediately corrected. The on site people, not sure if owners or managers have been very helpful.. My husband really appreciates the on-site propane service. And it is very nice to have phone calls answered, instead of having to leave messages and wait for an answer. Everything is frozen outside, (I bet they would adjust that too, if they were able). I would LOVE to be here during summer and if my husband's job goes long enough, I'll be able. The park is clean and very nice and quiet. Last night was New Year's eve and I didn't hear a sound. I would highly recommend a visit to the Ann Arbor KOA Holiday RV p

My family and I have been loyal campers here at KOA and every year my kids and I have a BLASSST!!!!!! love coming in and seeing all the smiling faces! And we also super appreciate the workers coming to check in on us to see if we need anything this place is really intentional! Big shouts to Ms. Patty shes always so nice, kind and welcoming definitely one of my favorite people here! You got a problem let Ms. Patty or Sean know and they are on it!!!

This review is for Ann Arbor Detroit KOA and we are traveling in a 39’ motor coach towing a F150 shorted truck. We were greeted with kindness from each staff member we met and they kindly allowed us to check in earlier than their check in time. I called ahead and ask if we could. They have unique fun activities that many other campgrounds do not offer, which included a lake with floatable slides and a walking trail around the lake, beach swimming, volleyball court, mini golf, basketball court, jumping pillow, etc. They have a bath house that is on the side of the campground office/store. If we had to use the bath facilities, it would have been very inconvenient. They had an area for you to take your dog. It was not fully fenced in and it was not kept clean of dog poop for many days.

Stopped here while traveling home from the UP. The location is nice right off of I75. Be ready to open up your wallet. Kids want to swim on the inflatables? They charge extra for that. Do you want to take a relaxing kayak paddle? They charge extra for that. Feel like riding around in the pedal carts that are usually left abandoned at other campgrounds? Yep you guessed it they charge extra for that as well. The campground is nice and the staff is friendly, the sites are small but several areas are shaded with nice mature trees. The beach is nice and the water was warm during our mid August trip.

Upon checking in I would have said I'd give this place two stars. The roads are pretty muddy. The water connection was leaking. There are a lot of permanent campers here, typically a place that I would avoid if I knew that ahead of time. Not typical of KOA. The next day they fixed the faucet. I discovered a walking trail around a beautiful pond with geese. And realized it wasn't that bad. Still not up to KOA standards I'm used to but I would come back and would recommend this place as long as it isn't raining LOL
