Desert Canyon Lodge

Yesenia, the Lodge manager provided terrible service. Her front desk agents allowed me a 1pm check out as we were playing golf at there course and 10mins before my tee time she stated I could not check out at that time. Very poor communication. She also over charged me for my room as I was charged $270 without tax when I was quoted $239 after tax. Terrible management and not very good customer service. 2nd year here but I won’t be coming back to the lodge.

Been coming here every September…… but this year our golf group has decided the never ending price hike (along with an air bnb style cleaning fee) was too much. I’m sad that it’s come down to this….. but the casitas are not worth darn near $700 a night after taxes and fees. The golf course is great…. but staying at the lodge just isn’t worth the discounted green fees anymore. It was a great ride. Thanks for the memories.

Underwhelming. From entering the clubhouse to returning the cart on home 18, nothing happened that was memorable. Our group of 8 had played bear mointain, gamble sands, and were hoping desert could satisfy our trip as the closing course. Absolut failure. The clubhouse host, who took my $130, was the only acceptable experience. No cart service, no water, no fun. I highly recommend d NOT going to this overrated, aged course.

Incredible place to stay. “Lodge” is a true descriptor of this property. The rooms are not like a hotel, they are like a home. Full kitchen, comfortable living rooms, separate bedrooms, and balconies/patios. I am in love. I came here for a business golf tournament and cannot wait to come for a vacation. It’s so pretty, relaxing, and inviting. I can’t see a reason why others wouldn’t love it.

My husband and I stayed at that lodge during a golf trip. The room was really clean, the bedding was so comfortable... laundry was also in the room. we felt like staying at home..everything was so good. I want to stay there next time too.
