DenMill Cedar Lodge

This was the worst experience ever! Booked room when we called to confirm. Checkin an confirm room number they changed the room 3x an when asked were to pick up the key they stated that the door would be unlocked an the key would be inside. First thought not the safest thing, so when we arrive to location there are several people who permanently live there wondering around the door to the room isn't closed. We open the door to find a not well kept room to say the least with no key. We look for key with no luck call management back as there is no one at the office very rude stating just lock the door they forgot to leave the key. We shut the door an the door doesnt even latch. I was in Melbourne for work and had to find a place rather quickly. The surrounding town is nice and the room was nice and clean! The owner was super nice as well. There was a (stray?) kitty who came to say hello, so extra points for that! ☺️ If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely stay again!

Stayed for 3 days. Room had soiled linens from previous guests shoved behind the dresser/desk; had to call and ask for more towels and coffee as housekeeping duties were not done during my visit.

Nick ,the owner couldn't be more accommodating!! Super welcoming atmosphere! He and his wife are fairly new owners and are committed to bringing good things to their community. The rooms were clean and more than adequate for a nights sleep. They are still in the process of renovating I can see even better things ahead. We even received vouchers for a meal at "Momma's Kitchen " food truck located across the parking lot, which we took advantage of. We had biscuits and gravy and it was plenty enough to fill us up and start the day. Both items were homemade fresh by the owners of the food truck. The price for our stay was a tremendous value. We'd stay there again and again.

We are new to town and needed a place to stay while closing on our new home. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. If you are in the area and looking for a motel that is clean quiet and priced right I highly recommend Denmill Ceder Lodge. The owners are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet. They went above and beyond to accommodate my family.
