Deltaville Dockside Inn

My husband and I booked one night’s stay and brought our dog,Pax, with us. We were pleasantly surprised to find a dog park, where Pax could play. We were very impressed with how well-stocked the room was- water bottles, snacks in the fridge and toiletries were included. The motel office also had additional supplies that we could access at any time, including exercise equipment. The room was very clean, comfortable and updated. It is evident that the owners care about their guests and want them to have a pleasurable experience.

Tired, cold and worn down, we had to pick a place to sleep from our trip in the storm. Being that we picked the closest port we had no idea what to expect. The owner went above and beyond to welcome us into her small town. She checked us in and helped us get settled. The rooms were cleaner than any room by far on this trip. The decor is coastal and cozy. I would 100% return. The rooms have a little snack/ coffee bar which was super helpful and welcoming in the morning. The staff keep the rooms so well maintained and add little details you wouldnt find anywhere else. Thanks again!

What a wonderful motel inn that offers amenities not found in most fine hotels! Clean, modern, and beautiful accommodations that were so appreciated. Everything about Dockside Inn was first class in this quaint little town on the Chesapeake Bay. I'll be back again and again!||John B.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is so well kept, clean, comfortable beds, 24 hour staff that is actually available and attentive. Super conveniently located to the boatyards, marinas and restaurants. We had a 3 minute drive from our boat to the room. I recommend this place 10/10. It has been completely renovated and they did a great job. Nice outdoor seating areas with grills and chairs. Benches outside your room on the porch. It reminds me of a place that came straight out of a book. We will be back. It is definitely a nice find.

Looking for a quick getaway and found the Deltaville Dockside Inn. I was so pleasantly surprised! A lot of obvious care has gone into upgrading and maintaining it. The room was very clean. (If you've been in in any chain hotels lately, you'll know what I mean when I say, "Even the baseboards were clean.") The nautical theme was freshly executed and not at all kitschy. It was easy to pick up the room keys after receiving my email confirmation. It made a good home base for the sightseeing we planned to do. There were nice added touches, like breakfast biscuits in the mini fridge. Lots of towels for a two night stay. It was peaceful, and other guests were respectful of quiet hours. A beautiful sunset over the boatyard was a bonus. A neat place, especially for the reasonable price.
