Del Mar Dunes, A Garrison Beach Resort at Lake Mille Lacs

Our family can’t wait to go back. This place offers all the adventures of northern Minnesota in a setting that is stunningly luxurious! The white sandy location, beach house like architecture, and view of Mille Lacs all trick your mind into thinking you’re on the coast but with unparalleled privacy. This amazing resort also brought us up to visit the charming town of Garrison. I hope they can continue expanding Del Mar Dunes into the near future! What an awesome gem in the great state of Minnesota!

Warm and cozy winter retreat with the ladies. We enjoyed the nice view with our morning coffee. The soaking tub was great too! It was clean and quiet and beautifully decorated. I found the beds really comfy too. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking my own meals. When we did venture out We had a great time at JJs Birds nest sharing appetizers and popcorn while trying our luck at pull tabs. We were also happy with the small small grocery store nearby for pick up some ice and snacks. There’s a lot of fun areas and lookouts nearby and this is conveniently located to the casino and hiking trails. Wish we could have stayed longer but I have a list of places I hope to check out on our next stay. The host was available for any questions and it’s clear that a lot of thought and

Spent the weekend at Del Mar Dunes with 8 women from different parts of my life—most of us came as strangers and left as friends. The house was the perfect reset: calm, quiet, and beautifully set up for connection and personal space. Mornings with coffee and sunrise views from the picture windows were magical, and the quick walk to the lake made for peaceful sand walks that felt like a Minnesota version of the ocean. Super clean, fully stocked kitchen, cozy beds, private suites, and just 1.5 hours from the city. Can’t wait to come back!

Incredible experience at DelMar Dunes. Spent a girl's weekend there and also had a baby shower for one of our girlfriends. It was an ideal experience. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We hiked and went to great restaurants. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a great weekend (towels, toilet paper, cooking utensils, great rooms, coffee makers, etc. etc.). The best was waking up to the wonderful sunrise over Mille Lacs Lake. Stunning. Thank you for the fabulous experience.

We had an AMAZING weekend here!!! We rented the entire house and we each had our own room, even if we rented the bottom half would be just as delightful. We were a party of 2 mom's and 2 daughters and we had so much space to enjoy our time, which again, was AMAZING!!! There's NOTHING that was not thought of here. From the bed linens, the towels ( the most plush ever!!) To the coffee maker AND coffee to the shampoo and other bath essentials. I took a bath in one of the baths upstairs as I looked at the lake. We watched movies on the comfy couches and enjoyed sitting outside in the morning with our coffee. We will definitely be back!!
