Deerwood Resort

We did a full resort buyout for our wedding this fall, and the entire weekend was incredibly special. The lake is beautiful and peaceful, creating the perfect setting for a meaningful celebration. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming for both us and our guests, making everyone feel right at home. The lodge space was ideal for cooking and sharing group meals, with plenty of room for everyone to gather and connect. The property is well maintained and in a great location, offering both privacy and convenience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important moment with our closest people.

Deerwood Resort was wonderful! Great location. The lake views from Chickadee were spectacular. Great to be so near Land O'Lakes, which is such a cute town and there were a few supper clubs nearby. Kathy is such a kind and responsive property manager. We loved our stay and intent to go back next summer!

The perfect Northwoods getaway! Beautiful, spotless, charming, and cozy cabins, well-maintained grounds and waterfront, and activities for all ages! This is truly the perfect getaway for couples, families, or friends. After a stay in 2024, we approached the property managers about hosting our intimate wedding at the Deerwood. We were able to rent out all of the cabins to have all of our family and friends enjoy a perfect weekend up north with us for our wedding! Kathy, Nick, Steve, and Randi are the most wonderful and attentive hosts, and it’s obvious how much pride they take in the property. You cannot go wrong with this vacation spot, and it will definitely leave you wanting to head right back to Land O’ Lakes when you leave!

Kathy, Had a great stay at the "Pine Bluff Cottage". Cabin was supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed several evenings sitting on the benches looking out over the lake. We would definitely use the resort for our next golf outing in four years. Thanks again for all of your help in setting it up for us.

We give a big 10 on our experience at Deerwood Resort. The host, Nick and Kathy, were amazing and so accommodating. The entire group (ages 1yr old to 65 yrs old) enjoyed every minute of our family vacation and that is because of the owners offering up a wonderful property and the host ensuring we had everything we needed. It is hard to put into words how wonderful this trip was for all 35 of us. So, thank-you so much and we look forward to our return in 2026.
