Deerfield Inn

This place is a total dump.. & I mean that literally. It looks like people have just dumped stuff in front of the building most of the time. I would literally sleep in my car, or even in the woods before I would ever even consider spending one night at the Deerfield. Plus it does not seem to be a travel / tourist motel, mostly because it appears that all of the people staying there actually live there. If you don't believe me, go check it out for yourself.. at your own risk.. you've been warned. Also, there are ZERO attractions of any kind anywhere near here.

Sleep in a tent, your car anywhere is better than this dump! If you are partial to cockroaches, mold, filth & meth addicts by all means... ENJOY! If you are not then avoid like the plague! Unsuitable for children, elderly, dogs, animals of any kind and humans

This is the ONLY MOTEL THAT states they have free wifibutbthey refuse to give out the password, no ice machine, no complimentary coffee, no room service if you live there like I did prepare yourself to be maintaining light fixtures and plumbing. We went without hot water for 8 days in everyroom, most rooms don't have working heat, we also went a week And a half without a microwave so we had to walk up to our neighbors to heat up meals for out 3 yr old. The owner tries to bully ppl telling us no one is allowed in the rooms after 11, he told us no tattooing, can't let out friends drive our vehicles. Tells us we're being evicted if we get into a petty disagreement.

Manager is rude and unprofessional. Made sexual remarks towards me while trying to rent a uhaul. Price was not what uhaul had told me and was over $100 more than what I was quoted with no explanation why. Place was dirty and had some very odd people in and out of the office which also seemed to be the managers living room.

It I'd out in the middle of no where. And its around 3 or 4 miles to the nearest store. I got room 5 right up front. Its okay. But the husband and wife managers here now are pretty cool. They work with ya. Shawn is always there to help. I did get tired of asking for TP so I I got my own at WalMart. Towels are hard to get also. But up and up they let me have my PBMonroe with me for a pet deposit. That was way cool. I wasn't planning on staying as long as I have, but finding a place near Eaton is very difficult. Eventually it will work out.
