Deer Valley Lodge

My husband and I use to do the long distance thing, and this was our half way point to meet sometimes. We brought our kids there recently and we had a great time! Rooms were clean, the water park is fun and family friendly for all ages. We will stay again, and would recommend to others! It's not wisconsin dells, but its a nice alternative and more budget friendly

This hotel was run by warm and friendly staff. It had a family friendly environment. My room was spacious and comfortable. There was a water park that children were enjoying. I had made a reservation at a more expensive hotel nearby where the room was musty and I couldn't breathe. What a surprise to find a cheaper room that was so much more inviting!!!!

We stayed for NYE, room was great. Great spot to hang out. Pool area fun for all ages (0-10 we were with). They must have put extra chlorine/bleach in the hot tub. Our swimming suits are ruined!

We stayed here for one night the day after Christmas as a little get away with the kiddos. Upon arrival things seemed good. The lobby was clean, you could smell the pool, they had a cute little library by the fireplace. We went up to our room and this is when we start to notice some things. First off, the elevator was making a godawful sound and next thing we know there’s a sign that says out of order. Which is laminated and seems to be an established sign for an ongoing issue. Anyways, we get to our room and the carpet has got to be at LEAST 20-30 years old. It’s sooo dated, clothing iron burns, stains, just not clean at all. Toilet has urine on the backside by where the lid connects, very clear nothing was really “cleaned”. Camouflage bed spreads is a HUGE red flag to me. Screams “I don’

Our room and the entire hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of extra blankets available in the room, two waffle makers at breakfast, and a very hard-working & accommodating staff. Special thanks to the lovely Amanda working the front desk. It was a great stay and we will be back again!
