DEER MOUNTAIN LODGE & WILDERNESS RESORT

This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. We weren’t sure about it at first but the place was beautiful; very rustic. The owner was great. She made us feel right at home. She made everyone breakfast each morning. Really made us feel spoiled. It was nice chatting with the other guests too. And we can’t forget about the owner’s dog. He watched over us all and got lots of attention. The outside grounds were nice too. Nice views out your bedroom window. There are ATV trails right across the street from the Resort. I can’t say enough about this place!

I had booked at this location without knowing much about the property and WOW were we blown away. The house is gorgeous, the rooms were spotless, the owner was gracious and kind, and the other guests were lovely. Our main thought was— how can we get back here again?? Breakfast was fantastic. Truly a wonderful experience.

We rented out the whole lodge and property for the weekend with family. The lodge was beautiful and rustic, and had all the old fashioned antiques and hunting decor you would expect. My nieces enjoyed the bunk room that had custom built full-sized bunks and the teenagers enjoyed the lower level with their own separate hangout room. Each room had its own theme and we loved that each room had its own bathroom. The grounds were beautiful with a lovely sitting area as well as tons of picnic tables for everyone to enjoy the food. The||Owners accommodated our needs/requests and we had a wonderful breakfast all-together before we left and they had a beautifully large dining room/table enough for us all. They had a large garage converted into country bar where many people gathered and kept

Beautifully done lodge. 5 rooms, each with own bathroom, available to rent alone or rent them all. Very clean and you feel right at home. Khrys was a gracious host and made great breakfast. We went to ride SXS and the location did not disappoint, ride right from the lodge. Plenty of room for trailers too. Bonus, first day we saw a Mom and baby moose not 10 minutes down th road! Excellent stay!! Hope to get back there again soon. Thank you!!

Right from the start this place felt like I was visiting a family member and staying at their home. The atmosphere was perfect for the location and the hostess was very accommodating. Never felt more spoiled at breakfast time 😁
