Deer Hideout Retreat

Excellent attention to detail! The studio is very large and nice decor. Feels like coming home. Homemade fresh banana bread, bottled water and chocolate! Great for our hiking trip. Cozy leather sofa and blankets for watching Christmas movies after exploring Charlottesville all day. Beautiful view from your private patio. It's so peaceful and very gracious host. We really enjoyed all the small things that made our stay so wonderful. Thank you!

This studio is a dream place. It’s spacious, modern with every detail thought through. All the way to a sitting arrangement on the small patio outside. Once inside we found nice greeting touches, including a home made banana bread. Coffee, tea and oatmeal packages made for nice mornings. Hand sanitized on the counter was a nice touch in these covid times. Cleaning supplies in the bathroom closet attested to the enhanced cleaning protocol being adhered to. Surrounded by a tranquil VA countryside with deer roaming through, an afternoon tea on the patio was relaxing. My dogs also loved to lie on the grass and watch the scenery. While they could not be left off the leash on the property, because the back yard is not fenced, we enjoyed walking around the spacious back yard and down the quiet co

The kindest hosts we've ever met. They made the experience comfortable and were there to help along every point of the way. They are super accommodating and really have thought of everything a guest could possibly need. Close to some great wineries and you for sure will see deer

Totally awesome! I'm trying to think of an excuse to stay at Deer Hideout again. Every detail had been thought of. Immaculate living area. Beautiful patio overlooking a forest, a very quiet place to enjoy morning coffee.
