DeBenedetti's place for PCT hikers

Stopping at DeBenedetti’s Place was one of the true highlights of my PCT journey. I was beyond grateful for the warm, generous hospitality and the chance to take a real break - physically and mentally. The kindness, the welcome, and the care they show to hikers is something special. You can feel that they truly want to support you, not just as hikers, but as people. Sitting down, talking with them, being treated like part of the family for a short while… it meant a lot. And that BBQ we were so Lucky to get - absolutely incredible. It honestly made my week. To any PCT hiker passing through: make the stop. You won’t regret it. Big thank you again to the amazing hosts. You made a lasting impression on my hike - and on me personally.

Although I had a midnight scare from their doggo running into my tent and breaking a guy line, this was one of my most influential stays in the desert. I woke up to the host making coffee and we had a heartwarming conversation about the need to slow down. The pct doesn’t have to be a race, although it especially feels like that in the beginning. Stay here and sign the trailer!

PCTハイキングで利用しました。PCTハイカーのためにハイカーボックス、Wi-Fi、ゴミ箱、トイレ、キッチン、チャージスポット、横になれる場所があります。屋外には日除けのテント、テーブルやイスがリラックスすることが出来ます。 オーナーはとてもフレンドリーで、とても信頼できる人です。ウェルカムコーラを貰えましたが、毎回もらえるかは分かりません。 ハイカーにとってのオアシスです。
