Dean Creek Resort Motel and Campground and RV Park

My stay at Dean Creek Resort Motel and Campground was amazing. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature and right near the redwoods, which makes it perfect for relaxing or camping. The property is well maintained and very clean, and the atmosphere feels welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy and making sure everything we needed was taken care of. The motel rooms and camping areas are comfortable and well kept, and the whole place has a calm, quiet vibe that makes it a great getaway. If you’re looking for a place to stay near the redwoods, whether you’re camping or staying in the motel, Dean Creek Resort is a great choice. I would definitely come back again.

We spent a good night at this hotel. I like the style of the hotel, and everything here is satisfied. Expecially I saw the starry sky that night our there in the backyard, it made me totally calmed down and relaxed after three hours driving.My wife had a good sleep that night, so in the morning of the next day she bought the same kind of pillow and we brought it back to China, thanks for the housekeeper very much, you are very kindly.

Big room, and nice woman at check-in who offered sightseeing advice, but pricey because there's not much else in the area. Parking was right in front of the room. It was old and a bit weathered. The shower could've been cleaner. The motel is also near the RV camping by the river. Warning that there are almost not food options in the area, so it might be best to bring your own.

Don't think "resort"... think about your second cousin Thelma who has a really cool place in the forest on a river who is happy to have you stay (and you "gift" her some money)... The room is huge, and clean. She even folds the towels nicely, but it's home decor rather than the gleaming bleached white sheets you would expect at a hotel. If your expectations are right, you'll love this stop.

It is a fun and lovely place. Our cabin faced the river and had a nice view from our picnic table. The office staff was very helpful despite our late check-in. They have a few cats in and around the office welcoming guests. 🐈 😻 The downside of the room was shower being lukewarm.
