Dead Colt Creek Rec Area

We recently camped at Dead Colt Creek Campground in Lisbon, ND. It’s about an hour and 45 minutes drive from Fargo. We booked Camp Tent H and we absolutely loved it. The site was very spacious, and what made it stand out was the shelter that came with it. Most of the other tent sites didn’t have one, so we really appreciated the extra shade and comfort. It also felt more private since it’s a bit farther from the other campers. It directly faces the beach, so we had a beautiful view of the water and got to watch people jet skiing, kayaking, boating, swimming, and fishing. The atmosphere was both fun and peaceful. There’s a playground for the kids too, which is a nice bonus for families. One thing to keep in mind is that Tent H is a bit of a walk to the toilets, and there’s no water source

My friend's son celebrated his birthday in the Pavilion area and it was great! We went down the lake and my kids aged 9,6, and 2 had a blast. They did not dip in the water but they enjoyed just hanging around and throwing rocks. Make sure to bring stuff to entertain yourself such as football, badminton, bean bags, nerf guns, and volleyball. My 2-year-old enjoyed the playground as well. This place is recommended for summer!

Nice environment. Lake for swimming,fishing. Playground,camping,picnic spots. There is even baseball fields here. If your looking for a day out to spend with friends or family this is the place to go!! Enjoy and blessings be with you. Please clean up after yourselves, and use the garbage receptacles provided.

Beautiful camp! Getting there seemed a little scary at first because signage doesn’t give you a clue how nice the place is. I hope whoever does the mowing around here sees this, but you did the best job I’ve ever seen at an rv park. The best! The place was lovely and I wish we could stay longer. Electricity and water, dump station provided. Beach was combed and water was nice in early August. Playgrounds were nice too.
