Absolutely wonderful experience. The home is located in Amish country in PA. Tara and her husband offer a comfortable and unqiue environment. The home is 150+ years old, perfect for a weekend getaway! The town is untouched by the modern world and truly a relaxing location. They have friendly animals in the yard, Alpaca/donkey/miniature pony and several horses. You can pet most of the animals, great for children! They also offer horse and carriage rides around town!! This was our second trip and we will definately return again!
Dayze Gone Bye is a wonderful spot for a weekend getaway, even with reduced activity during the pandemic. Tara is an amazing host, happy to help with any inquiries and full of knowledge about the town and its community. The guesthouse is charming and cozy, and will make you feel right at home when you return from a long day of exploring the towns and the beautiful landscape of Central PA.
Very neat 150+ year old guest home allows you to fit right in to the Allensville community. Tara and Nick are wonderful hosts with lots of hospitality. Definitely take the carriage ride for a tour of the local amish country!
Should not have Dogs running around Cabin. While they were friendly. They were constantly annoying That is only my Opinion.
Enjoyed our weekend away for my birthday. Took me back in time.
