Days Inn by Wyndham Yanceyville

This place was ok. The room was good enough for a few hour of sleep but anything over that is a stretch. The beds were ok but we had to go back to the office for a functional tv remote and the room was overly scented with glad plug-in air fresheners that was a bit too much

That was one of the worst hotels that I have ever been to. I had to sleep on top of the bed, and it was just filthy and nasty, walls were dirty, Mirror was dirty, toilet head yucky stuff inside, hair on the counter, and microwave had stuck on food in there. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to punish yourself.

Almost all the reviews here are from when it was the Days Inn several years ago. It’s not the same hotel now. It’s got a new name and is under new management of course. I messaged Trip Advisor about this and they haven’t removed the old data. Maybe the owners have to do that. In any case, enjoyed my stay very much!

The hotel over booked and gave us the last room available even though we booked months in advance. The room was absolutely disgusting. The sheets had blood stains, the pillow cases had makeup stains, the floors were absolutely filthy and the sink was clogged with ramen noodles. The shower bar was not properly installed so the curtain couldnt even close and water got everywhere. Only one light worked in the entire room and you had to unscrew the lightbulb to turn it off since the switch was broken. The smoke detector was just wires hanging out of the wall and the walls were disgustingly dirty. I do not know how this place is in business.

We stayed here while visiting the area for the Martinsville race. We thought we would enjoy some nearby hiking and the enchantment of a small town. First of all, this is possibly the only hotel in Yanceyville, but Danville is only 10 minutes down the road and is a MUCH nicer area with plenty selection of nicer hotels. We had asked for a two hour early check in and had received an email confirming that the early check in had been granted, Upon arrival, there were only two others staying in the hotel, yet our room had not been cleaned.....at nearly 1pm and we had been confirmed for 12 noon check in. We were told to "go drive around" until the room was ready, even though we had already been in the car for 7 hours to get there. We returned in an hour and the room was ready. The room had a very
