Days Inn by Wyndham Whitmore Lake/Ann Arbor/Brighton

Yesterday, we ran into some unexpected weather where there was lots of black ice on the highway traveling home from visiting family. We decided to pull off the road and grab a hotel room for the night and try to continue travel the next day. 1. We were able to get a room at a very reasonable rate on short notice. 🙏🏽🙌🏾 2. The staff were very kind and personable asking about our journey and concerned that we had a good stay. 3. I was traveling with all three of my small children, one of as an infant. Since this stay was unexpected, we weren’t sure if we would have enough milk for the night for the baby. The manager also had an infant and offered to share some formula if we got into an emergency situation. I TRULY appreciate his offer. He did not have to do that. We ended up not needing it

To start we had a late check in the gentleman i talked to when i checked us in was very nice. Here are my pro's and cons about our stay:😎 👉Pro's: This room is in a nice area, there is a restaurant next to it, laundry on property, room price not bad. The rooms look like the pictures they are nice looking👍. Shower was nice an hot🤓. Bathroom was clean for the most part👍. There was a little dust nothing horrible. The bed wasn't bad comfortable, clean bedding no bugs in the room👍. There is a fridge its clean in the room an a microwave👍. You get pretty good tv channels👍. We could see the highway an watch traffic which was kinda cool we didnt mind🤓. Room was clean and well maintained. Lobby had fresh coffee and staff were very friendly and attentive. Fresh muffins and granola bars every day.

Positive: Convenient, good price, nice restaurant close by. Friendly staff. Efficient and quiet. Negative: The pool was absolutely freezing. Unable to enter past ankles without pain! Would have been fine if poolWasn?t advertised. The roomShower was dated and stained

Everyone was nice. The room was clean, but the bathroom was old. Toilet ran all the time. Mattress was like sleeping on the floor. It was so hard. Finally, it is way to far from Ann Arbor. It took 20 to 35 minutes to drive there.
