Days Inn by Wyndham Westminster

I wanted to rate this place higher, but my conscience wouldn't let me. We needed a place to stay near the courthouse as we were called to be a witness, and we live too far away for the morning time. The room was dingy, dirty and run down. The light and fan in the bathroom almost made me throw up. The TV did not work until someone case up and fiddled with it. There was no coffeemaker in the room, and the one in the lobby had a water-like substance in it. I suspect the water was run through the grounds more than once. The table it was on was filthy. The elevator buttons - let's just say, wear gloves. The breakfast was awful. There was jelly -* it looked like there should have been some type of bread, but none. The best way to describe this hotel is a bad trailer park with 4 walls. If you like that, it’s a cheap bed. To be fair, my room was clean, the TV worked well as did the internet, and the front desk woman was very nice. Beyond that, the bed was simply awful- like woke up at 3:30 with my back hurting and never fell back asleep. Stained couch. Beat up furniture. Dingy hallway. Minimalist shower with stuck knob. You get the picture. The owners clearly don’t give a damn or ran out of money to invest in it a long time ago

We chose this place for dog pet friendly and was please with that decision. The stay was great for that. Location great. Atmosphere was pleasant. Value great. Noise level very good. Service excellent. Amenities on site just as needed. Clean room. Would only recommend some small upgrades to room maintenance to go along with the niceness of the rest of the room. Very happy having a microwave and dorm refrigerator in room. Thank you for the stay.

Positive: Rooms are clean Negative: No cups/glasses in the room (We had to go down stairs to get cups from the coffee serving area. NO shower head cover, my wife was not impressed at all. The first hotel with no shower head cover.

The sheets were unclean. Stains on the comforter, sheets, and pillow cases. The headboard had stains on it. The shower was unclean, and looked like it had been used. I asked for a refund because we were only there for an hour before deciding we were not comfortable staying there. They refused and said there was nothing wrong with the room. If i could give 0 stars I would. Do not recommend.
