Days Inn by Wyndham Wellington Fort Collins Area

This place is an absolute scam! I had made a reservation with Booking.com and prepaid for the trip and the deposit. I arrive and oh well I guess that the charge on my account isn’t real because she wants me to put down yet another deposit! Okay so it’s 10:30 at night and I explain to her what’s going on and she tells me that I’m unable to stay unless a have a physical card for the deposit I already paid for! SCAMMERS SHAME ON YOU! Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS!

Staff was pleasant, lobby and common areas were clean and nice. Room was good for the price. Shower was great! Now for the cons, TV reception and channel volumes were not good at all. The thermostat was off from the room temp but no biggie as we found a comfortable temp to sleep. One negative on the sleeping aspect though was the noise from the interstate as we were on the side facing traffic. I image the west side of the property is much quieter so you may want to specify a west side room if booking there. All that said, the bed and pillows were comfortable and for the price point I'd stay there again (West side).

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was a tad chilly and it was kind of disappointing that there was no hot tub, but it was very nice and we went several times. The only complaints I have are: 1. IT WAS SO COLD! It was 8 degrees outside but they kept the lobby entry doors open so it was FREEZING having a downstairs room, especially coming back from the pool. Also, the lady at the front desk on Tuesday for the overnight shift tried to preach to my husband about Christianity and went on to tell him that he wasn’t going to heaven and he couldn’t be a Christian because he is trans gender. That was extremely disrespectful. Although she was sweet to us and it didn’t really rub him the wrong way, it extremely upset me & I had to walk out to my car to keep from popping off at the mouth. To start most of the staff was great. One front desk guy was very off putting but there is always one! The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable! I was woke up twice by housekeeping coming in my room in the morning. The breakfast was a disappointment the cereal was stale and there was no butter for toast. When I asked for more they said they would be back but never saw them again. So if you just need a room and a bed I recommend it but if you're going to be staying for awhile look elsewhere.

Honestly, I'm only giving 2 stars because the workers are great. As far as the hotel itself, it's the worst place I've ever stayed, and that's from someone who literally lives on the road...hotels are my life. It started with them not having our rooms ready when we flew in. Then 90% of the rooms in the whole place had broken a/c units, leaving them super hot as they offered box fans. None of the ice machines work. Workers have to come out of their pockets to go buy bags of ice for the guests. It is really sad that employees care more for the guests than the owners. You want the money but refuse to invest back into your business. There are fire alarms going off and blaring loudly all through the night, leaving us with little sleep to have to work full 10 hour construction shifts which is a
