Days Inn by Wyndham Stoughton WI.

Room had hair everywhere. All different colors and lengths. One of the lights above nightstand didn't work. This should be a $65-$70 a night hotel. For $110 I have stayed in clean rooms in hotels that also had pools and hot breakfast. Keep driving and I would advise anyone against staying here. 2 stars for location because the small downtown area looked nice. 2 stars for service just because I was able to check in quick.

This hotel is a dump. Pool is permanently closed. Room was dirty and bedspreads had questionable stains. There was part of a lollipop stuck to one of the supposedly clean sheets. There were dryer sheets in the air vents, presumably to cover some sort of smell. Bathroom was not clean. We slept in our clothes. Had a two night reservation but checked out first thing in the morning. We will not be back.

The only good thing about this place was the location. Rooms looked and felt thrown together. Safety and Security were abysmal. We were in a "Non-smoking" room, but it smelled of smoke, because there were people's smoking and talking outside the room at 0100-0300. Outside doors were not locked. Outside Security lights were flashing all night. Security latch on our room door was missing. Breakfast offerings were meager: Cold cereal and Instant Coffee.

Positive: The price, where it was Negative: Breakfasts, no hot food. No cream for the wafflesThey did have cereal, coffee, juice. Donuts, yogert, milk, and plain waffles. The room was clean with a tv. The room felt like it was from the 1950's It was good for a 1 star motel

I stayed at the Days Inn in Stoughton, WI, and was shocked to find what looked like an animal bone on the floor of my room. It was clearly not vacuumed or cleaned properly. The rest of the room didn’t inspire much confidence either — stains on the carpet, a musty smell, and surfaces that felt grimy, lights that didn’t turn on. When I brought the bone to manager’s attention, the staff seemed indifferent, dismissive, and rude. I don’t expect luxury at a budget hotel, but I do expect basic cleanliness and professionalism. This was neither. I will never stay here again and strongly recommend avoiding this location until they get their cleaning standards under control.
