Days Inn by Wyndham Rock Falls

They are in the process of changing over to a Best Western. Advertised as a Days Inn. Rooms are poorly remodeled. We were given a handicap room. The walk in shower curtain does not reach the floor and flooded the bathroom. The counter top is loose from the side supports.

Positive: "" Negative: Mildew was located on the ceiling near the window valance and also in the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. There was no attendant at breakfast, which was poor. No attendant at the desk, you have to ring a bell. Mildew odor was very strong!

Employees are so friendly. My kids love the pool and the fresh waffles in the morning are always needed before they jump in the pool! The pool area is always pretty chilly as is the water, kids don’t seem to mind it at all. There’s a rack of fresh towels for when you’re done swimming.

During the winter, my family and I tried to get a staycation and find something to do in the area. When I called to make the reservation, the lady said they had an indoor pool so we decided To book a room for one night. After we got there and brought it all of our stuff into the room, we went to the pool. That was the worst mistake ever because that pool was probably only about 60° in the pool area and the water was just as cold. We also made the mistake of inviting some family that was in the area to come swim and upon doing that was told that we were also going to be charged $30 extra. Because of how cold the pool area was, we were only able to swim 30 minutes when in all fairness we had hours to swim, but because of the lack of maintenance in the pool area that was not possible. I hope

Indian restaurant attached to hotel is delicious. Pool is cool, not warm though. Bare minimum hotel No milk at breakfast. Even when asked for it, only a no and a, " ahh sorry" Tubs are stained from time. Fingerprints, EVERYWHERE!
