Customer Reviews
Positive: "" Negative: Out dated, old carpets and furnishings, hotel meets the minimum requirement for its state of repair. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Could have been a lovely hotel, if owners invested more than just a new coat of paint in each room.
Shabby need work done. It's quiet. The beds r horrible and the bathrooms need serious work done. I don't like to complain bcuz we as business owners try the best we can. It's n a good location. It really need work done. Today people don't care about anything. I know the owner didn't make the place like that. People feel it's not their place, so people don't care. Just a little food for thought.
"Impossible" Would leave zero stars if I could. First thing, they told us our room reservation through Expedia was no good, because the person who made it was under 21. Didn't matter that the payment already went through on Expedia or that there was a 23 year old chaperoning. Then they said "the computer is having issues and we can't book you five people to a room, so we'll just give you the double queen room (six people occupancy) and put "one person" in the computer". Fine. Then he says "my manager comes back tomorrow and he might add a charge". What??? "because there's five people staying in a one person room". what????? I ask him what does he mean "might" add a charge and how much the charge will be, and he says "i don't know". i ask him to call the manager, manager says no charge,
I don't care how the hotel looks as long as it comes in handy when you're in a middle of a winter storm and your 2 hours away you just want to get off the road and just chill and relax. The location is kind of nowhere but in a case of weather emergency it provides you with a roof where you could recoup and wait till the roads are clean enough so in that case scenario I see this hotel I'm checking in. My personal opinion.
We were 2 days into a tandem bike trip and needed a place to stay in Ridgefield , CT. If we were in a car and had not just ridden 65 miles, we would have left and found another place to stay. The room was in a poor state of repair with mold around the tub, broken bathroom faucet handle, outlets that did not function, AC that smelled moldy. The bed was rock-hard as well. ||The only saving grace was a wonderful, small, family run Mexican restaurant that was attached to the motel.
