Days Inn by Wyndham Miami

This Days Inn Checks all the boxes for me. Clean and basic, no frills and no thrills. Quick jump on and off i44. Parking lot can accommodate trailers and large vehicles. Check in process was quick, room was clean, and bed was comfortable. No complaints. Dollar General next door if you need late night snacks.

Positive: "" Negative: The only bed pillows available are small, square, overstuffed, and not comfortable.

We were traveling with little sleep on Jan 20th 2026 (Confirmation Number: B_23666370) and we checked out and drove about 50 miles down the HW when we noticed that we had left an expensive device in the room. We called and asked the staff to please go check and grab/secure the device and we’d figure out a way to come pick it up. She responded that she would NOT go to the room and the room wasn’t even cleaned yet. The cleaners (or someone) stole the device and they never called me. They were too lazy (or too corrupt) to help a customer with a simple request. Travel is difficult enough to have deal with lazy worthless people. Pathetic!

We selected Days Inn for the typical reasons - location, price, and Wyndham’s reputation. However, we were disappointed from the very first entry. Here are the key disappointments: unprofessional desk staff, untidy atmosphere, no coffee in the morning, disappointing breakfast choices, etc. This is the first poor review I have ever written. I prefer to write a sterling review full of gratitude. The Wyndham brand needs to know that this off brand, covered deeply in used cigarette butts environment will cause us to stay elsewhere. :(

Room and especially the chair in our room smelled like a dirty dog. It was a cook-your-own breakfast with egg and sausage frozen in fridge to make yourself. Apples appeared to look very old. No juice of any kind. Waffle batter was empty and no one at desk to ask for more. Thinnest towels I have ever had in a hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.
