Days Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North

I had problems getting the shuttle at the airport, I have phone records of my calling the hotel 6 times over the course of an hour and a half about the shuttle. They kept telling me it would come, but they said they had no control over the driver. I suggested since it appeared that the shuttle driver was AWOL that I take a cab and have the hotel reimburse me. I was pleased that the front desk clerk agreed. There were two other guests from Canada who were waiting alongside me for that shuttle that never came. When we arrived at the hotel by taxi and I asked for the cab fare reimbursement as promised, the new front desk clerk (shift change) had to call a supervisor and the supervisor okayed the reimbursement. Was this the most luxerious place to stay? No. Was Lakesha (front desk) the absolute best? YES! We had a great time during our stay. They don't have coffee or breakfast as mentioned on the ad but there are places close enough to get what you need. The pool was great, rooms were clean and the transport to and from airport was included! We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Miami!

Positive: Close to airport Negative: A/C was leaking all over the floor. We had to call them twice about it, they finally moved us to a different room. Our eyes were burning in the room due to probably mold from the leak. Staff was rude. There were roaches outside and inside.

Pay the extra $ and get a “deluxe room”. And even then place your expectations low. We stayed in rooms 505 and 507. Bedding was clean, room was very spacious. Washroom was dirty in many spots, tv didn’t have a lot of channels, door didn’t close unless you really pushed it, ac was very loud, front desk didn’t have any extra blankets. Pool area is big but pool lacked the full amount of water it needed for the jets to work. No pool towels. |Convenience store across the street was super convenient for last minute snacks and wine for the cruise. McDonald’s 5 min walk, but very small inside and always busy. A kids park is a 10 min walk away which is great for kids to play. Subway attached to hotel is very convenient but staff lacked good customer service. |Shuttle to port was over 40min late due

My stay was a true 3/5. Upon arrival, the lobby was completely packed with no seating available. Only place you can sit yo wait for check-in was Subway . Attendants were doing their very best. Chaotic day maybe. Not sure. My room was OK. Im a guy. Sheets were clean but floor was not mopped and stray hairs around sink area. Not the end of the world. Walls are paper thin. So loud and noisy during the day. I had no Wi-fi during my stay. Connectivity issues as others mentioned. I only stayed 2 days. Great location though. Not good for family. Very much a budget hotel.
