Days Inn by Wyndham Hillsdale

Horrible. I am a traveling professional and on three different occasions I have been forced to make reservation with this hotel. First time I made my reservation on line and got a confirmation. On arriving they told me no rooms available. They told me they do not honor on line reservation. I then had to contact my credit card and dispute charge. I contacted hotel directly to speak to manager or owner with no return call. Second time I called hotel made reservation one hour before arrival during a snow storm and next nearest hotel approx one hour away. When I arrived reception stated computor down and they could not check me in. I was turned away in snow storm. Third time I called directly made my reservation at 1:25am. I clearly stated my check in date and check out date. I arrived that ev

When we arrived, we were told our room that was booked three months earlier was given away (they were overbooked by 3 rooms). All they kept saying is, "There is nothing we can do. We didn't have any rooms available when you booked." We were told so many lies. My sister-in-law booked a room weeks after us and hers was available. A lady came in and checked in while we were there, and she said she booked her room a week earlier. No manager would talk to us. They made the new front desk worker deal with it. We were not compensated at all. I have never been treated so poorly. Since all hotels were booked within an hour radius, we ended up sleeping on our friend's floor. Awful.

Positive: Room was spacious, clean, newly renovated. Appliances worked well. Negative: Hallways noise was loud in room, too much light coming in around exterior window at night, beds were very firm.

Its located in the heart of hillsdale, prices are decent and the pool is always luke warm. The service is accessible at front desk. Overall quiet and they also have smoking areas outside. Breakfast is served ready in the early mornings and last till 10 am. Parking is easy and they keep their parking lot always plowed.

If I could give this hotel a zero I would. I booked through hotels.com for 4 nights and had a change of plans so my brother in law was going to stay in the room Friday and Sat. I called and let the hotel know ahead of time and everything was fine. Until he arrived to find out that they gave the room to someone else and marked my reservation as a no show. Then they wanted to charge my brother in law more money than what the original reservation was. When I called to talk to a manager, she was very rude and was not willing to resolve this in a professional manner or offer any assistance. There are plenty of other towns with hotels ....drive another 10 min and go somewhere else!!!!
