Days Inn by Wyndham Great Lakes Naval Base

I was going to my son ‘s graduation at the Navy base. It was one of the hotel recommended my experience. The only good thing it was close to the Navy base unfortunately was very unpleasant stay. I would never recommend or I would never stay in this hotel again .They gave me dirty sheets with other people‘s long hair I took pictures. I went down. I complain to the staff because the telephone in the room didn’t work. They told me they didn’t have anybody to change the sheets It was very frustrating during my staying there nobody clean my room I will have to go down an request clean towels to the from desk They air unit didn’t have any heater was very cold at night The door to the room had a gap that anyone could just kick my door. Very unsafe there was noise.horrible experience

Nasty and run down. Had a room with a jetted tub. Filled it up only to see pubic hair floating around. On top of that the thing was broken! It was also extremely frustrating when checking in. Waited in that lobby for 15 minutes before someone finally showed up. Ended up leaving a day early & these people refused to refund the last day! Crappy cold breakfast. Cold hard boiled eggs and cold tator tots. Even the hot water pitcher was luke warm. This place is pathetic and I will never stay there again!

Positive: The location and the manager. Location was perfect! Right where we needed to be for the Navy base and surrounding area. The manager was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to welcome us, make us feel welcomed, and inform us of things. Negative: The beds were absolutely horrible. The frames were metal and clanged every time your foot grazed it. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The a.c. unit didn't put out a lot of cool air. The staff turned off my a.c. while we were gone. No door signage.

When I reserved my rooms at The Diversey, I requested king bedded rooms. Neil, working the front desk during check-in, watched me struggle from the outside using my walker. When he looked at my reservation, he told me he didn’t like giving me a king bedded room, because there was a step to the bathroom, and he didn’t like me having to use a step. Neil treated me like his aunt, or older sister. It took a minute, but he found me the perfect room, right down to a seat in the shower!!! And it was right around the corner from my grandson’s. Neil was fantastic !! As is the hotel itself. Immaculate, in a great location, comfortable beds - I can’t wait to go back !!

Rooms need updated, there is hair on the back wall under the sink, and I get a call from the front desk that I was making noise, just WOW, so watching tv is making noise. I cant wait to leave Sunday. Also the pillow case had makeup on it that's disgusting. Not worth 97.65 a night. I just thought since close to the base to see my daughter before she gets ship out.
