Where to start....the owner seems like he is always mad about something, never smiles or acts friendly. He has no problem arguing loudly with his wife, who also works as a housekeeper. The rooms are pretty clean, but run down. The TV reception is extremely spotty and you can't turn theTV, so you cant see it if you are sitting at the desk. The breakfast is OK, but nothing is cooked fresh in the mornings, it is all pre-packaged stuff, and the muffins tasted stale. Unfortunately, there is only one other hotel option here, which looks alot worse than this place. I dont think you have to worry about the cleanliness of the rooms, as the housekeeping staff is thorough and very friendly. Very clean and comfortable room but breakfast was lacking. Juice machine was empty, and very few options. Additionally we could not work TV.

Positive: better and newer of the only 2 hotels in this very small town. will probably choose to drive further and stay in Camden on our next family visit to have more updated facilities and coffee available after morning breakfast window Negative: breakfast not up to ?Hot? standards. for price would expect at least eggs and a bacon or sausage hot meal instead of hot water Grits and waffle batter

Management needs to move the front desk clerk to a role that involves zero human contact. ​From the second we arrived, we weren't guests; we were inconveniences. His attitude was a toxic blend of rude, unwelcoming, and staggeringly unprofessional. But it wasn't just his personality that was the problem—it was his incompetence. ​The breaking point: He actually handed out a key to our occupied room to another family. We had to deal with strangers trying to enter our room in the middle of the night! Room very clean and nice decor.. Breakfast was very disappointing.. 1 stale breakfast sandwich. Waffle make was inoperable...Only milk available was a half empty gallon jug. Coffee seemed like old instant coffee. Over all for the rate paid, I would have expected much more.
