Customer Reviews
Easy to get to, great breakfast! They lost a star bc they have their mattresses on these huge metal platforms that are too high, make too much noise, and every time you run into it, which is easy to do, it's a huge metal thud that reverberate clear through to neighboring rooms lol! Also, room smelled like mold. They were very clean, though. We felt very safe in the area, as well, and I would stay again.
My only issue was the lobby being closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. We left at 2:30 a.m. and had a bit of a time getting the person to wake from the lobby couch. Warning to closure would have been more helpful. Instead of a note on the door when leaving.
Positive: Location Negative: There was blood on the sheets I have pictures upon arrival
Room 107 was mostly great. We liked that we could walk to eat supper after driving all day. Bed were comfortable but 1 of the 2 makes a lot of noise when you move at all. Bedding is great. Room itself is quiet. The room did not have a coffee pot, which we like because we usually leave before breakfast times. Front desk lady was friendly. My one big complaint is that the side doors are accessible to anyone. They do not lock at all. Being right next to a major highway, that was concerning. We actually backtracked back to that hotel after a day in NOLA to then go back to Whitney Plantation as overall we enjoyed the area & room. I would stay there again. Please fix the door locks.
An oasis at 1:00 am. While very late, the host was very gracious and patient, making sure we had a room as close to front as possible due to my husbands disability; assisted us in getting in and safe… a nice amenity at 1:00 am and exhausted. Room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed (great linens). Perfect for our purposes.
