Days Inn by Wyndham Colorado City

Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Walls are very thin. People next to us were very noisy two nights in a row. The hallway smelled horrible. The breakfast was a NutriGrain bar, minimal fruit, and coffee. The staff was polite, and the location was perfect for us. It was pet friendly, too.

A great little place. The building is older yes! But the inside is super clean, the staff is awesome, and the view is amazing. when we need a little place to get away this is where we come. This is our little hideaway, and I would recommend it to anyone that asks. It's the best little hotel. They have a great little food truck out front now. They serve hot coffee with real cream in the morning, yes, it's just a grab and go breakfast but that is more than most hotel is doing these days. But above all the service here is 5 stars, I have paid hundreds of dollars to stay at hotels and got less service than we do at this little hotel in the mountains. I'm telling you this place is with a try, it so nice.

Photos on website not recent. Very much in need of updating. Sheets were stained and hopefully laundered. Toilet clogged as well as the sink. Stained towels. No hot water even after letting it run for several minutes. No breakfast but a grab-n-go with coffee and water, even though their website says they offer one. Got locked out of our room, twice, and needed to get new keys. So, don’t stay more than one night. Staff was very apologetic but the owners need to do some serious improvements.

Positive: While this was an older hotel with older furnishings, the room & bathroom were clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel was in a great location for my visit. Easy access from the highway. Negative: Complementary breakfast was very basic.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! They will "warn" you that the water takes 5-10 minutes to get hot but it never does, you call the front desk and they say "15-20 minutes, old building", and after 25 minutes, it never gets even remotely warm. Manager is absent and they do nothing to resolve it including even the simplest of moving you rooms or offering a refund. Then give you the runaround because they are an independent franchise and can do what they want. I'm never one to leave a bad review but the terrible customer service and sheer inconsiderate behavior is despicable. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. Even the slightest bit of accountability would have been helpful.
