Days Inn by Wyndham Cape Carteret near Emerald Isle

Floors looked clean until we noticed our white socks were turning black. Wife cleaned a walkway from the bed to sink, to shower and turned a tub full if water dark brown from all the dirt. Bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was quite nice. Housekeeping was very loud outside and next door. Not a very busy location in January but we were put in the room right beside the only other customer.

Positive: Literally NOTHING Negative: The room smelled like mildew. Housekeeping beat on our door at 9am every morning and when i asked them to come back in 30 mins, no show! We had to go get our own clean towels, i had to sweep our floor and change our sheets. Shower was gross!

Room was really clean! Staff was very polite! Free breakfast was decent (what a fun pancake maker!). Pool was nice, pretty quiet atmosphere and relatively close to the beach! Great value for the price! We will definitely come back again! Family friendly!

Service was great. Rooms could have been cleaned better. Hair in the bathtub that was not mine. Motel has been upgraded but there are some fixes that need to be done. Seal around door needs to be fixed plus other things. Could definitely use some air freshener in the rooms as well.

The room was clean, they remade the beds while we were out. The pool was clean, but some people had left trash out unfortunately. The front staff was super sweet. The drive to the beach is about 10 minutes. The location is good, only thing is if you’re planning on going to some locations it’s a bit of a drive. It’s quiet here for the most part. I really enjoyed my stay and will return in the future.
