Dawleys Sol Duc River Campground

We had the opportunity to camp at Dawleys over the first weekend of October. It was so much more than I had hoped for. We stayed in a Hideaway 3 with our trailer and it was a very nice pull through site. Every RV spot we saw was easy to access with privacy. They all had picnic tables with umbrellas and nice firepits built for fire cooking. They have garden gnomes and forest decorations throughout the park which are a fun surprise. I can tell that the owners put a lot of love and care into the park. The bathrooms were clean and the dish washing station is a nice touch if needed. The location is a perfect base camp for seeing all the beautiful sites like Sol Duc, Hoh Rainforest, Ruby Beach, Cape Flattery and more. I would highly recommend staying here in an rv, if you don't mind dry camping,

Dont not camp here.... owner Dale threatened intentionally bodily harm and acted on it.|||| Sunday morning, approximately 8 am. Came in our campsite. Enter my grandfather's truck, which was running with his door open. Grandpa was making breakfast while his truck was warming up and playing music while dale was in the truck he turn it off and riped the keys out slamming the door and threw the keys at the trailer breaking the key fob, screams turn the f....g generator off or ill get my cat and burry all of the cars and people. Dale went and got a heavy piece of equipment that pushed over trees to get to our camp site. Cool little spot right off 101, really quiet at least right now 9/13, no direct access to the river but we got a river view spot which is very peaceful. You can go down river to the hatchery to have some beach access. 5 sani cans were very clean on a Saturday and while I was washing my hands at the dish washing station I took my wedding ring off and left it accidentally on the counter. To my surprise the camp host approached our site and asked if anyone lost a ring and I was floored with gratitude! Excellent service and wonderful experience. Highly recommended checking it out! We will be back for sure

this campground is a MUST stay if you are going on a peninsula adventure! The campground is incredibly clean, quiet, and easy to navigate! The proximity to the river is wonderful and you can even go explore the hatchery! As a heads up, you do have to bring your own drinking water, and there are no showers, but other than that, this is the perfect accommodation for a place to sleep during your PNW adventures!

Very nice campsite with so much to do! Great fishing spots and it is pretty big. Very vibrant with all of the decorations! Also some of the cleanest porta-potties I have ever seen. It's insane! The hosts are very nice.
