Datil Well Recreation Area Campground

This was a beautiful campground, all sites have a covered picnic area and a fire ring. Bathrooms all around. 3 sites have electric hookups and 1 handicap accessible site. The bathrooms are very clean and the location is very quiet except for some cows and coyotes at night.

This campground is well maintained, the nighttime views are spectacular and it is fairly close to 'The very large array', which is another nice attraction in the area. Overall, this is a great camping location and has a few electric hookup sites.

Very well-maintained campground with about 20 sites and ONLY 3 had electricity, unfortunately we weren’t there in time to get one. The sites were level for the most part and all had wonderful shade areas with a picnic table and cement pads. The $ was going up the day after we left but still a bargain. Very nice trails all nicely marked and beautiful views. We ate lunch at the diner/butcher shop of which the meat was a bit expensive but so nice camp food!

Always love Datil! Third year here and the trails are awesome especially for dug walking. Bathrooms clean. Just a great spot to camp.

Great campground. Third time being there. Each time the camp hosts were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The restrooms and campsites were exceptionally clean and well cared for. I would definitely go there again.
