Darton's Twin Pine Resort

We love it here or we wouldn't be returning year after year. We have 3 generations of us and love the lake, grounds, and unique cabins. Very clean and nicely kept up property. If something breaks or we need help, the friendly owners are right there.||||No A/C but great breezes galore and fans can help inside. Dishes and pans are all supplied. Nice refrigerators and stoves in every unit. ||||Quiet, lakeside, nice piers. You can bring your own boat or rent one of theirs. Nice lake with sandy bottom.

We returned to Twin Pine Resort in early August with six adults and our three grandchildren ages 4, 2 and 1. Cabin #2 and the resort grounds were neat and clean. Grandkids got a kick out of the animal statues, the swing set, the large selection of rocks to toss in the lake and the large space for outdoor games. We brought my father’s old Mirrocraft this year and enjoyed our time fishing and taking boat rides with the kids. Sons and I visited Plum Lake GC again this year. Took advantage of the early bird and played 18 holes in less than 4 hours. Beautiful well maintained 9 hole course. The only disappointment of the week was the appearance of swimmer’s itch. We found out that North Twin has an itch history. We loaded up the crew and headed to Crystal Lake west of Sayner. Beautiful

As a kid, I stayed at Twin Pine Resort many times. I've had a chance to stay in or visit each cabin (except for the house). Growing up we always stayed in a cabin that was torn down in order to make room for the new (current) owner's home. My family had let them know how much that cabin meant to us and they actually sent us a piece of the cabin as a memento. We have it displayed next to a picture of the cabin. Very thoughtful. :) This year I was able to go back with my child! The cabins are clean and well stocked. The lake views are great, but watch out for swimmers itch! I didn't fish, but my family did and had a great time. We always enjoy playing badminton but I feel as though there are never any good birdies. That is pretty much the only bad thing I can say about my time here! Take you

I have been to this resort three times now renting a cabin with my family. Each time, the grounds and cabin have been clean and well maintained. The lake view from our cottage was wonderful as is the mostly sand/some rocks frontage. The owners are not seen much but, for the most part, respond to problems within a few hours. This year, they seemed to be gone overnight quite often, which we thought was odd considering this is their busy season? Regardless, they are cordial and professional. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place to go. If you are looking for an clean authentic, "up north" Wisconsin cabin where you can sit and watch the lake, fish, swim, canoe, kayak, read, and enjoy nature, this is for you.

We have stayed here for several years each August. The place is Not fancy but it is very clean and owners Glen and Diane are wonderful hosts. We have booked again for next year. The fishing is great and the lakefront is sandy with great fishing. Admittedly I fish mostly musky and walleyes, but there are plenty of panfish for those who like to catch them. We enjoy this week immensely. The lakefront is lovey and sandy an just East down the lake is Dublin Sports Bar which is a great local watering hole with really good food. All in all from our perspective,it’s outstanding.
