D'Arbonne Lake Motel

Really solid place to stay, especially if you want to be close to the lake. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is a little basic and not super modern, but everything worked and it felt well maintained. A few small updates could make it even better, but overall it was a good value for the price. I’d stay here again for a quick trip or weekend by the water.

The rooms smelled of|Cigarette smoke. I guess it’s legal in this state to smoke in them. Gross. Ashtrays left in rooms. I sprayed, but couldn’t get that smell to lighten up. Wouldn’t recommend if you have allergies at all. Rooms were remodeled, but very old and outdated for sure. Restaurant on site. Food was ok. Friendly staff.

Overall a somewhat clean place to stay. Noisy metal bed frame and NO coffee available on the property was a surprise, so bring your own for any stay here. The sheetrock wall in my room had a doorknob size hole with tape over it and pushed into the hole in addition to the curtain with a hole torn into it. This would be a last resort place to stay for me if back in the area again.

A little piece of heaven. This Motel is a hidden gem. To be honest I wasnt expecting much. Expectations were low, boy was I wrong. The staff / owners were so kind. Always waving. Rooms clean and spacious. The view was to die for. Couldn't keep myself from enjoying the view of that gorgeous lake. My ONLY take away. I wish they had thicker blankets on the bed. Other than that...perfection!!!

We stay pretty frequently when we come to visit family. Rooms have recently been updated some and have no complaints. Front desk worker is always kind and friendly.
