This is a must-see at Death Valley National Park. You can see so far and all of the Badwater was amazing to see. The drive up there is a 15% grade. And no vehicles or campers are allowed over 20 ft long.

Absolutely stunning, especially at sunset! I highly recommend visiting in the off-season. We were here mid-January and the temperatures were perfect. Although there are far less crowds, this is still a popular spot for sunrise and sunset so be sure to get there at least an hour beforehand. There is limited parking at the top and it fills up quickly, but once you're there, it's a short walk to the overlook. I do not recommend campers or RV's, as the road to get up has very steep inclines and switchbacks. But if you do, there is a small pull-off shortly before the peak (where the restroom is) that can fit 1-2 oversize vehicles.

Truly a gem of high altitude viewpoints, providing a grand view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Especially beautiful an hour or so before sunset so that colors can start to play around. Was extremely lucky to see portions of the valley covered in water after some rainfall in the winter. Fun uphill and downhill drive to and from Dante's View.

Death Valley also had an impressive canyon landscape. You can see a lake down below, which is quite unique and beautiful. The road up is steep, so it’s best to drive carefully. The view is truly stunning.

Spectacular views of Death Valley with a transient lake in the vicinity of Bad Water. Simultaneously you have a view of snow covered telescope peak and Badwater: (the lowest point-284 feet below sea level and the 12000 foot Telescope peak in the Panamint Mountain range)
