Dakota Ring Neck Lodge

First time at Dakota Ringneck this past weekend…… great hunts, great lodge, and great people! Will definitely be back, thank you for a great weekend!

Outstanding hunting and lodging experience! Andy and Matt were amazing guides with top notch dogs. A well managed population of birds and the fields they hunt were very well kept. We got a limit of birds each day of our hunt. No small feat since our group was 20 strong. We split into 2 groups for each hunt. I like that the corn was cut off at about 4 feet for better visibility and safety. The lodge is clean and comfortable and some very pleasant ladies kept us WELL fed. There were plenty of games, skeet and other activities to keep us entertained between hunts. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

Perfect gentleman’s hunting, no ruffing it allowed. Well managed lodge and especially well managed bird population. None of us had ever seen so many birds so quickly. Attention to details such as shortening the corn for better vision when the birds flush. Second generation family business that makes you feel like you’re family. Top flight trap house for warming up before and after the hunt a nice surprising bonus.

Hunted here few years ago during March. The owners were accommodating and 10 of us had a Great Experience. We didnt stay at the lodge, but we will be next time.
