We had a great stay. The place was wheelchair accesible. The bathroom is very big and open. The only issue was they do not have a shower chair at this time 2-2026. I gave the owner some suggestions. Hopefully he will get one. Loved the town and the people we met. We will stay again.
The room was not at a comfortable temperature when we arrived so it took a while for the room to cool down enough, although thankfully the air did work. The toilet didn’t flush at first but we did finally get it working, there was a to go box with left overs in the fridge ( presumably left by the previous occupant) , the top cover on one of the beds had hair on it, and the mattresses were too firm. 2/10. Do not recommend
Truly a two star motel. It has the basics but everything is of poor quality. The bed was not comfortable, the pillows were not comfortable, there was an old coffee pot but no cups, there was no stopper for the sink, the towels were cheap, no coffee in the office, no one around to ask questions. Would not stay there again.
The only good thing about this place is the fact it’s close to LMU! Seriously no restaurants or major stores close unless you want to drive 10 minutes to Middlesboro Ky Curtains have come off the rod in 1 place and the street lights shined in our room all night. Beds ha. Rock hard. Bathroom is tiny as all get out. There’s a reason why there’s slip mat in tub! I was going to take it out. Wrong. Enamel on the bottom of the tub has cracked and come off! $100 a night is not cheap to me especially when the room is way outdated except for the tv. I had rather pay $125 for a room that’s updated and has soft comfortable beds and the curtains are on the rod where they close completely than $100 for an outdated room where I get very little sleep and wake up with my back hurting. Floor has obviously
I chose this hotel because everything with in 20 miles looked like rat motels. I think the location is beautiful. We only stayed for one night. The cleanliness was the biggest downfall for the room. The hardwood floors left my daughter's white socks black. The shower curtain was disgusting. The whole vibe of the hotel room felt weird. Loud vehicles coming and going from the hotel in the middle of the night. The guy receptionist was very nice and helpful. The locals around were very rude. 1919 was the only welcoming place to eat. Angelo's was the very unwelcoming.
