We stopped here for a couple of nights on a trip to Georgia. The RV sites are small - be sure that you check the size of the site so that your trailer will fit! (I was able to secure one of the largest sites at 26', very close to the bathhouse.) Our trailer fit fine, but in terms of site space, we had very little - not enough room to set up our clamshell around the picnic table. The bathhouse facility was clean, if small. Only 2 shower units means you need to be quick to get in! If you're here, you're going to see Cumberland Falls. If not, what are you doing? But don't forget to visit some of the others, too: Eagle Falls, Dog Slaughter Falls. The hikes have a good deal of elevation change, so be prepared. My wife and I spent one night here on August 13, 2024 in our 20' long travel trailer. I really would love to have given this campground a better rating, but the RV campsites are VERY SMALL (even for my little camper) and you have to share power and water hookup outlet boxes between adjoining sites. The first site that I was assigned when checking was unacceptable because the distance to the power and water hookup was too far away for my cord and hose to reach, and I also did not have enough straightaway to safely back in my camper because there was a big playground in front of it just across the one lane loop road that runs around the small campground. Other than the tiny size of the campsites, everything else about the place was 5 stars. The showers and laundry room were spotlessly cl
Beautiful campground, helpful and friendly staff, clean facilities, near many trails, rivers, and falls. An absolutely great experience. The only draw back is you have bring firewood from town. They sold us unseasoned wood. Highly recommend!
Small campground, but quiet and clean. You CAN eat at the lodge btw.
Good cell service and nice bathrooms. However, the campsites are extremely short and close together. I would not recommend this for ANY travel trailers.
